Oops, Wrong Ring?
Recently I was looking around for a new ring I could wear in place of my wedding ring. I wanted to find something a bit less fancy that I could where no matter what I was doing, you know pulling a calf, mucking the stalls or gardening.
So I went online and bought me a nice but simple silvery ring from http://www.eternaltungsten.com/ I was very pleased with myself not only was it a quick and painless purchase but it was very affordable. What I did not do, was notice that the tungsten ring I bought was a man’s ring. Yep, I had a very blonde moment, and if I would have paid better attention I would have realized all the rings on this site are for men, but I didn’t and so I bought the one I liked Serenity. Boy was I surprise when it arrived it was way too big. I felt so embarrassed when I realized my folly that I quickly decided to give the ring to my husband since Valentines Day just around the bend, hoping he would never know of my moment of “Blondeness”.
Well as you know today is Valentines and I gave him the ring and it fit perfect! What I did not expect was that he would feel so bad because he only bought me a musical card, that declared his love for me! It took me all of two seconds before I admitted my folly and told him that I had originally bought the ring for myself. He was very nice about the whole thing and didn’t even laugh at me until he was in the shower and thought I could not hear him snickering.
While I am still embarrassed by my mistake, I am glad he likes the ring and it fits him so well. What he doesn’t know it that Mothers’ Day is just around the bend I and I am expecting something along the lines of, ”A Girls’ Best Friend”, just with out the diamonds, because even though calving seasons almost over for the year, I still have stalls to muck and a garden to plant.
